Notice is hereby given that Strishock, LLC, 220 Hillcrest Drive, DuBois, PA 15801, requested bond release for Surface Mining Permit No. 33100106, pursuant to the Surface Mining Conservation and Reclamation Act.

The permit was issued on April 24, 2012 and is located north of Interstate 80 approximately 3/4 mile northwest of Hormtown, north and south of Moore Road (T-479), and east of Laurel Run Road (SR 1005) on lands of Ronald Raybuck,Donald Lee Raybuck P. O. A, Albert E. Moore, David A. & Susan H. Moore, John Bradley Smith & Kelly E. Holt, John J. D’Anna now Mary L. & William J. D’Anna, Calvin M. Dickey now David B. & Emma A. Byler, Carol Java now Steve D. & Sarah E. Byler, and Smith Family Trust c/o Stewart Smith in Washington Township, Jefferson County.

Bond release of $137,760.00 is requested for 147.2 acres.

Total bond held is $229,600.00.

The release area includes backfilling, regrading, and sedimentation control and planting. This was completed in August 2017.

Moore, John Bradley Smith & Kelly E. Holt, John J. D’Anna now Mary L. D’Anna and William J. D’Anna, Calvin M. Dickey now David B. & Emma A. Byler, and Joel J. Java, Sr. now Steve D. & Sarah E. Byler properties. The mine site is located in Washington Township, Jefferson County and is known as the Raybuck Mine.

The permit area is 257.5 acres and is situated north of Interstate 80 approximately 3/4 mile northwest of Hormtown, north and south of Moore Road (T-479), and east of Laurel Run Road (SR 1005) on lands of Ronald Raybuck, Albert E. Moore, David A. & Susan H. Moore, John Bradley Smith & Kelly E. Holt, John J. D’Anna now Mary L. & William J. D’Anna, Calvin M. Dickey now David B. & Emma A. Byler, Carol Java now Steve D. & Sarah E.
