CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE
We have immediate openings for production positions to support our current operations.
Specifically, the open positions will be based in our Graphitizing and Machining
departments. These positions will be at our facility in St. Marys, PA. This is a large
industrial setting and work conditions can involve both indoor and outdoor operations.
Our Graphitizing department runs a 12 hours rotating shift and Machining is an 8 hour
day shift.
See below for a summary of responsibilities:
• Processing and maintaining customer purchase orders within GrafTech’s ERP system
• Coordinates, maintains, and monitors material shipment schedules in support of
meeting customer on- time delivery requirements
• Interacts with production to coordinate information on technical issues, delivery
dates, capacity and capability
• Provides follow-up customer responses as needed
• Logistics management of all customer outbound shipments (carrier selection, rate
negotiation, shipment scheduling, proof of deliveries) and intercompany
material movement
• Administration of the Inside Sales Office responsibilities as related to quote to cash
and Sarbanes Oxley audit requests
• Backup of other Supply Chain personnel as needed
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• A minimum 1-2 years of experience in order entry, customer communications, and
logistics management
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Customer focus oriented with good organization skills
Preferred Skills but not necessary:
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or equivalent field
• SOX and Export Compliance experience
