James M. Fitzgerald

James M. Fitzgerald, 60, 105 E. Condot Road, St. Marys, died at his home on Monday, Feb. 13, 2012, surrounded by his family.
He was born June 15, 1951, in Bradford, a son of William and Shirley Hokanson Fitzgerald of St. Marys. On Sept. 2, 1972, in Johnsonburg, he married Barbara Williams Fitzgerald, who survives.
Jim was a member of the Tri-County Church of God in DuBois.
He graduated from St. Marys Area High School, Class of 1969. He graduated from Penn State University with a bachelor's degree in accounting. He had been employed by Airco Speer, Johnson and Johnson Pharmaceuticals and most recently at Allegheny Software. He had also owned his own business, EHS Innovators.
He had a great love and passion for music and enjoyed playing in secular and worship bands. He gave his all to his music, and his of love of music was reflected by his service to the Lord and his passion for playing worship music.
In addition to his wife of nearly 40 years, Barbara Williams Fitzgerald, he is survived by a daughter, Jennifer, Mrs. Brian Molnar, Johnsonburg; brother, John Fitzgerald and his wife Lisa, St. Marys; brother, Todd Fitzgerald, St. Marys; and brother, David Fitzgerald and his wife Margie, Kersey.
There will be no visitation. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial service at the First United Methodist Church, 140 N. St. Marys St., St. Marys, on Friday, Feb. 17, at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Chris Kindle, Pastor, officiating. There will also be a memorial service held at the Tri-County Church of God, 1881 Old 255 Road, DuBois, on Saturday at 11 a.m. Burial will be in the Holy Rosary Cemetery in Johnsonburg.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Community Nurses Hospice, 757 Johnsonburg Road, Suite 200, St. Marys, PA 15857, the American Cancer Society or to a charity of choice.
