Catherine Eleanor Carroll Sedor, 85, Lackawanna, N.Y., passed away on Feb. 17, 2012, after a long illness.
She was the daughter of the late William T. and Anna C. Carroll. She was married to the late Joseph D. Sedor.
She graduated from St. Catherine's High School, DuBois, in 1945.
She was the last surviving member of her generation.
She is survived by six children: Donald (Carol), James (Patricia), Robert (Kim), Thomas, Jean (Jack) Foley and Mary Jo (Jeff) Bunn; ten grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Patricia; six sisters: Eileen Yates, Marion Caruso, Helen Shumin, Veronica "Bonnie" Erickson, Frances McNeil, Geraldine Carroll; and four brothers: William J., John R., James N., and Joseph L.
A funeral mass will be held at 9:15 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 21, at Our Lady of Victory Basilica, Lackawanna, N.Y., with entombment in Holy Cross Cemetery Mausoleum, Lackawanna, N.Y.
