Our Commitment

McLean Publishing Company Online, which includes related sites including The Courier Express, Tri-County Sunday, Leader Vindicator, Jeffersonian Democrat, The Value Guide, I-80 Maps, recognize the importance of protecting the privacy of personally identifiable information collected about you, our customers and prospects. This customer privacy policy is intended to balance our legitimate business interests in collecting and using information against our users' reasonable expectations of privacy.

General User Information

In general, we gather information about all of our users collectively, such as what areas users visit most often and what services users access the most. We only use such data in the aggregate. This information helps us determine what is most beneficial for our users, and how we can continually create a better overall experience for our users. Children's Privacy

We do not specifically collect information about children under 13 in accordance with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act of 1998. We believe that children should get their parents' consent before giving out personal information. We further believe that parents should participate, and guide their children's experience on the McLean Publishing Company Online. In the event that we receive actual knowledge that we have collected such personal information without the requisite and verifiable parental consent, we will delete that information from our database as quickly as is practicable.

Opting-Out

Refund Policy

Classified and display classified ads Refund Policy for items submitted on-line:

 • Errors: Classified advertising placed through our LinersOnLine on-line system are the responsibility of the person or persons creating the ad, and no refunds can be made for errors in the ad.

 • Failure to run: a full refund will be made if an ad is not accepted by the publisher, or if the ad fails to run due to publisher error. All refund claims must be made within 30 days of the first date ad was to run.

 • Ads for Merchandise and Auto Specials are non-refundable.

User Agreement

Overview

By using the McLean Publishing Company Online Web sites, you hereby agree to be bound by all of the terms and conditions contained in this User Agreement ("Agreement"). McLean Publishing Company reserves the right at its discretion to change the terms of this Agreement and will provide notice of any such changes by online posting. Your continued use of the McLean Publishing Company Online Web sites after the posting of any notice of change in terms shall constitute your agreement to be bound by any such changes.

Definitions
