BROOKVILLE — Magisterial District Judge Gregory Bazylak presided over the following preliminary hearings on Oct. 15.

Held for Court Sufficient evidence was established during preliminary hearings to send the following cases to the Jefferson Court of Common Pleas for further disposition.

Daniel Solomon Yoder, 21, of Meadville, who is charged with possession of marijuana, and 10 counts of use/possession of drug paraphernalia.

Waived for Court The following defendants waived their right to a preliminary hearing. Their cases will be sent to the Jefferson County Court of Common Pleas for further disposition.

Joseph Paul Zimmerman, 39, of Brookville, who is charged with DUI: controlled substance –schedule one, DUI: controlled substance –metabolite, DUI: controlled substance –impaired ability, failure to carry registration, driving without insurance, careless driving, no rear lights, and obstructed windows. His bail is set at $10,000 unsecured.

Bryce Floyde Marvin, 25, of Anita, who is charged with possession of marijuana, use/possession of drug paraphernalia, driving an unregistered vehicle, failure to carry registration, failure to carry license, driving with a suspended or revoked license, driving without insurance, failure to keep right, and improper sunscreening. His bail is set at $10,000 unsecured.

Howard L. Peterson Jr., 49, of Brookville, who is charged with DUI: highest rate of alcohol, and no rear lights. His bail is set at $10,000 unsecured.

Christopher Michael Harris, 52, of Mims, Florida, who is charged with DUI: general impairment, DUI: highest rate of alcohol, disregard traffic lane, and careless driving. His bail is set at $10,000 unsecured.

Amanda Vickers, 27, of Brookville, who is charged with possession of marijuana, and five counts of use/possession of drug paraphernalia. Her bail is set at $10,000 unsecured.

Jared Chase Mahon, 19, of Port Allegany, who is charged with two counts of use/possession of drug paraphernalia, and improper sunscreening. His bail is set at $10,000 unsecured.

William Scott Grubbs, 28, of Summerville, who is charged with possession of a controlled substance and use/possession of drug paraphernalia. In a second case, he is charged with possession of a controlled substance and use/possession of drug paraphernalia. His bail is set at $10,000 unsecured.

Shane T. Miller, 28, of Knox, who is charged with theft by deception, and bad checks. His bail is set at $10,000 unsecured.

Ashley Daniele Assalone, 48, of Clearfield, who is charged with possession of marijuana, and nine counts of use/possession of drug paraphernalia. Her bail is set at $10,000 unsecured.
