SHIPPENVILLE — The Clarion-Limestone Lions baseball team’s opening-round Class 1A playoff game at Clarion was one of six District 9 postseason matchups to be moved to Wednesday because of the weather.
BROOKVILLE — What started out as a day gunning for a repeat team title finished up under the lights with the Brookville Lady Raiders winning their first title at the District 9 Class 2A Track and Field Championships last Friday night.

Brookville Area Little League’s “first-half tournament” for its Little League baseball division is set for this Saturday, weather-permitting, at Zufall Field. All five teams will play in a round-robin tournament. Games will be played on both Zufall and Kirby fields. The schedule is below:
