Wednesday, February 1, 2012
PITTSBURGH - Sentencing in the case against Mayport's Emerson Begolly, suspected of using the Internet to promote violence against Americans through posts he made as moderator of a popular, internationally known Islamic extremist Web forum, has again been postponed.
Begolly, who remains incarcerated, pleaded guilty last summer to one count of the federal charges levied against him in U.S. District Court. The count to which Begolly, 22, pleaded guilty carries a sentence of up to 10 years in prison.
