A road more traveled- Piney Creek Power defends plans, as residents organize opposition

PINEY TWP. - Plans to build a frack water treatment plant beside the Piney Creek Power Plant in Piney Township have neighbors suggesting other sites because of the narrow Piney Dam Road (SR 3016) that winds in front of their homes.
Approximately 20 families live along the road to the power plant and they are concerned about possible increases in traffic and related dangers if the project receives all the necessary approvals and construction begins this year.
