Monroe residents ask Piney officials for help

Wednesday, February 15, 2012

PINEY TWP. - Piney Dam Road residents continued their fight against plans to build a treatment plant for water used in natural gas drilling, taking their case to Piney Township Supervisors Monday night.
But despite a half-hour of impassioned pleas from the Monroe Township residents, Piney Township's leaders said that even though the proposed treatment facility is in their township, there was little, if anything, the township could do to help.

For the complete story, see the Feb. 15 issue of The Leader-Vindicator.
