Redbank Valley reaches out to Union
Wednesday, February 22, 2012
RIMERSBURG - A committee of Redbank Valley School District directors is reaching out to neighboring districts to talk about inter-district cooperation - and the Union School District was the first to receive Redbank's invitation.
At the Union school board's meeting on Feb. 16, superintendent Larry Bornak informed the board of a letter from the Redbank committee which asked for a meeting with Union officials to discuss opportunities to "share services."
Among the mentioned services listed in the letter were administrative, instructional and support services, Bornak said.
