[Photo by George Powers] A MUDDY TRACK WAS no problem for Mark Strothers (20) as the Redbank Valley fullback broke free for a 59-yard touchdown in the second quarter as the Bulldogs zoomed out to a 42-0 halftime lead over Punxsutawney on Friday. Strothers picked up 141 yards on nine carries and scored twice as Redbank evened its record at 4-4 with the 42-12 victory.

PUNXSUTAWNEY - Ever scratch your head and just wonder, have I seen this before.
For Redbank Valley fans, they shouldn't have to delve too deeply into their cranial gray matter to discover a similar performance as the Bulldogs had one just seven days earlier. A quick-strike offense, six touchdowns in the first half, pitching a shutout over the first two quarters, a mercy-rule clock rolling for the entire second half and surrendering a pair of touchdowns in the second half after the outcome of the game was already decided.
Sound familiar? Well, Redbank must have liked last week's script in a 47-13 win over Clarion-Limestone so much, they dusted off the same game plan or at least flicked a few raindrops off of it and brought it back for an encore performance. Guess what, the off-Broadway production drew rave revues once again in the repeat airing as the Bulldogs had their lines down pat in a 42-12 victory over the Punxsutawney Chucks in a Keystone Shortway Athletic Conference inter-division contest at Jack LaMarca Stadium on Friday.
