'Dogs down Raiders for fourth straight win

Wednesday, November 9, 2011

NEW BETHLEHEM - Playoff time arrives for Redbank Valley and the Bulldogs look to have their game in order as the District 9 Class A tournament hits the gridiron this weekend.
Following a 2-1 start to the 2011 campaign, Redbank slipped into a three-game losing streak, falling to 2-4 and putting its postseason hopes in jeopardy. But with the season in the balance, the Bulldogs rediscovered their winning ways and a 20-7 victory over the Brookville Raiders on Friday capped off a regular-season-ending four-game win streak as Redbank secured the third seed in the district playoffs with a 6-4 record.
