Smith pours in 27 points as Knights crush Indians

RIMERSBURG - Riding the double-barreled scoring outburst of Taylor Smith and Brody Pollock, the Union Golden Knights led wire-to-wire in a 61-36 victory over the West Forest Indians in Keystone Shortway Athletic Conference basketball on Friday.
Ripping the twine with seven 3-pointers, Smith topped Union's scoring with a game-high 27 points with Pollock knocking down three treys while racking up 17 points as the Knight's one-two punch combined for 44 of the team's 61 points. Smith also picked off seven steals and Pollock pulled down eight rebounds as Union improved to 3-0 in KSAC play and 4-1 overall.
