Richard Lee Reichart, 43, of Rimersburg, died at his home Monday, February 13, 2012.
Born April 14, 1968, in Brookville, he was the son of Richard E. and Judy K. (Hartman) Reichart.
Mr. Reichart was a self-employed finish carpenter for Reichart Construction. He worked in the Clarion and DuBois areas for a number of years.
He was a member of the Rimersburg Methodist Church and the Rimersburg Rod and Gun Club.
Mr. Reichart loved the outdoors - hunting, fishing, ATV riding and boating were all favorite pastimes of his. He especially loved campfires with his friends. He loved his dog, Hunter.
His children were most important to him; he enjoyed attending their sporting events.
Survivors include his father, Richard E. Reichart of Greenville; his mother, Judy K. Curll and her husband, Vaughn, of Rimersburg; his former wife, Jennifer Criner of Clarion; a son, Benton Reichart of Clarion; a daughter, Maci Reichart of Clarion; a sister, Tonya Priester and husband, Don, of Rimersburg; two nieces, Doni and Delani Priester; a nephew, Derek Priester; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents and a cousin, Kelly Salvo-Morey.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. on Thursday, February 16, at the Varner Funeral Home in Rimersburg.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, February 17, 2012, at the Baker Street Church of God in Rimersburg with the Rev. John Milliron, church pastor, officiating. Friends will also be received at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of the service on Friday.
His family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Clarion Area High School Football or Volleyball Boosters, 221 Liberty Street, Clarion, PA 16214.
