Holiday Ball

Final preparations for the upcoming Penn Highlands DuBois Auxiliary Charity Ball are in the works. The ball will be on Dec 2 at the DuBois Country Club. The committee is feverishly working to make this spectacular event even more special this year. There will be a “pre-party” cocktail party in the lobby of the Comfort Inn and Suites with hors d’oeuvres, wine tasting, craft beer sampling and music by “Dirty Martini” starting at 7 p.m. The party will then move into the ball room of the country club with hors d’oeuvres, and music by “Down to the Wire.” Hotel rooms are available for guests of the ball (reservations required). The ball, the auxiliary’s main fundraiser, has continued to be a great success each year thanks to the community. This year’s proceeds benefit the auxiliary’s current pledge to purchase a heart-lung machine. Sponsorships as well as tickets are available. Contact Paula DuBois at 590-1116, Laura Gasbarre at 769-6226 or Carol Foltz at 590-3398 for more information. Absent from the photo is Lori Kriner, committee chairperson.
