FALLS CREEK – A strategic plan for the DuBois Regional Airport is closer to take-off.
The final strategic plan meeting was held last week, following the regular monthly meeting of the Clearfield-Jefferson Counties Regional Airport Authority.
Those attending the meeting included Anthony McCloskey, director of the PennDOT Bureau of Aviation, and James Brock, from Michael Baker International, in addition to those representing the authority.
“It went well,” said airport manager Bob Shaffer of the meeting.
There will be a report at the authority’s next meeting in March.
He noted that the plan looks forward for three years, from 2017 to 2020.
The plan will focus on two key areas, finances and future development, according to Shaffer.
