Police are investigating the theft of a Land’s Price 52-inch deck red with gold trim lawnmower worth $3,000 along Shiloh Road in Woodland sometime between May 21-22. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police.
Police conducted a traffic stop in the parking lot of Denny’s Beer Barrel Pub Thursday at 12:09 a.m. for an expired registration and discovered the driver, Christopher Hanes of Mineral Springs, was under the influence of drugs. He admitted to taking methamphetamine and Suboxone he was not prescribed. Hanes refused a blood test. He was charged with DUI-controlled substances and released to a sober individual.
A 73-year-old male reported medication was stolen at his residence on Collins Avenue on June 2. The investigation continues.
Saturday police received a report from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children that a 31-year-old Clearfield man had transmitted a video containing child pornography from a residence along Good Street. Charges are pending.
Tobacco sale to minor
Saturday police received a report that an employee at Sheetz sold tobacco to a juvenile, who was being supervised as a part of an age compliance check. A citation is pending.
Police cited Darrin Thompson, 31, of Clearfield, for disorderly conduct for a domestic incident Saturday at 9:47 a.m. on High Street.
Thursday at 7:49 p.m. police received a report that a female who was possibly under the influence, was dancing at the Rural King. Police located the 31-year-old woman, who was moving uncomfortably and was crying. She was taken into custody and a large amount of methamphetamine was found in her purse. She also had a warrant for her arrest.
Charges are pending.
Retail theft, drugs flushed
Friday at 4:30 p.m. police responded to Walmart for a retail theft and the suspect was being aggressive to employees. Upon arrival police were told the male was in the restroom flushing drugs down the toilet. Charges are pending.
Saturday at 1:30 a.m. police conducted a traffic stop on Jesse Musselman, 37, of Morrisdale, on Woodland Road near Denny’s Beer Barrel Pub for driving with a suspended license. Upon making contact with Musselman, police determined he was DUI-alcohol. Musselman was uncooperative with police and refused to take field sobriety tests or a blood draw. He was housed in the Clearfield County Jail due to the level of his intoxication and was charged with DUI, driving with suspended license and other related charges.
DUI, drug arrest
State police conducted a traffic stop Saturday at 4 p.m. on W. Main Street, Reynoldsville, Jefferson County and discovered the driver, William Tapper, 49, was under the influence of an illicit substance. The vehicle was searched and controlled substances and drug paraphernalia were found. Tapper was arrested and charged with DUI and drug-related offenses.
