Jessamy Leanne Baxter, 25, 59 Ida Lane, Brockway, is charged by the Jefferson County Drug Task Force with possession of a controlled substance with the intent to deliver, conspiracy, dealing in the proceeds of unlawful acts, and possession of a controlled substance.
According to the affidavit of probable cause, the drug task force set up a controlled crystal meth buy with Rodger Brosky via cell phone and a confidential informant (CI).
The sale was scheduled to happen at Brosky’s single wide trailer on Patch Road in Snyder Township. The agents gave Brosky cash around 10:20 March 14, 2017 which he took into his home.
Several minutes later a blonde woman exited a vehicle that had pulled into the driveway. She walked to the door, at which time the agents and CI were instructed to take a lap around the block before returning.
When they entered the house, the CI told the agents it was not real meth at which time Brosky called Baxter’s friend who said he would be there to make it right.
When the man never showed up, the agents and CI left.
Charges against Baxter were filed Feb. 8 with District Judge David Inzana of Reynoldsville. Baxter is awaiting a preliminary hearing.
