DuBOIS — District Judge Patrick N. Ford of DuBois presided over preliminary hearings and other proceedings April 12.

Hearings waived

The following defendants waived their rights to preliminary hearings. Their cases will be sent to the Clearfield County Court of Common Pleas for further disposition.

  • Shawn T. McFarland, 44, DuBois, who is charged with driving under the influence of alcohol or controlled substances and several summary traffic violations. Unsecured bail was set at $1,000.
  • Timothy E. Brown, 46, Penfield, who is charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. Unsecured bail was set at $1,000.
  • Jackson C. Hulse, 31, Brookville, who is charged with possession of a controlled substance and several summary traffic violations. Unsecured bail was set at $1,000.
  • Douglas H. Williams, 39, Oil City, who is charged with accidents involving damage attended vehicle and several summary traffic violations. Unsecured bail was set at $1,000.
  • Matthew W. Pearson II, 23, DuBois, who is charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. Unsecured bail was set at $1,000.
  • Cortney M. Mortimer, 37, DuBois, who is an inmate in the Jefferson County Jail, who is charged with three misdemeanor counts of possession of drug paraphernalia and a misdemeanor count of providing false information to law enforcement. Unsecured bail was set at $2,500. In a separate case, she is charged with providing false information to law enforcement and possession of drug paraphernalia. Unsecured bail was set at $2,500.
  • Jaclyn M. Wisor, 22, Reynoldsville, who is charged with a felony count to manufacture, deliver, or possession with intent to manufacture or deliver, two misdemeanor counts of intentional possession of a controlled substance a person not registered, a misdemeanor count of possession of drug paraphernalia and a summary traffic violation. Unsecured bail was set at $5,000.
  • Joseph J. Alderton, 26, Reynoldsville, an inmate in the Clearfield County Jail, who is charged with felony counts of burglary, criminal conspiracy, criminal trespass, theft by unlawful taking and a misdemeanor count of possession of a controlled substance. Monetary bail was set at $50,000.
  • Daniel Dakota Drexler, 28, Reynoldsville, who is charged with felony counts of burglary, criminal conspiracy and criminal trespass. Monetary bail was set at $25,000.

Guilty pleas entered

The following individuals entered a guilty pleas:

  • Bradley M. Dunlap, 26, DuBois, pleaded guilty to a summary count of disorderly conduct. He must pay $261.25 in fines and costs. A misdemeanor count of assault and and a summary count of harassment were withdrawn.

Held for court

As a result of a preliminary hearing, sufficient evidence was established to send the following case to the Clearfield County Court of Common Pleas for further disposition.

  • Cristy M. Caltagarone, 38, Reynoldsville, who is charged with felony counts of burglary, criminal conspiracy and criminal trespass. Monetary bail was set at $10,000.

  • Richard L. Hagen, 60, Rockton, who is charged with DUI, possession of drug paraphernalia and several summary traffic violations. Unsecured bail was set at $1,000.
  • Kyle T. Schwabenbauer, 26, St. Marys, who is charged with DUI and several summary traffic violations. Unsecured bail was set at $1,000.
  • Michelle L. Dunworth, 40, Penfield, who is charged with retail theft. Unsecured bail was set at $1,000.
  • Matthew E. Hickman, 31, who is an inmate in the Clearfield County Jail, who is charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. Unsecured bail was set at $1,000. In a separate case, he is charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, disorderly conduct and public drunkenness. Unsecured bail was set at $1,000.
  • Dean D. DeSalve, 52, DuBois, who is charged with DUI and summary traffic violations. Unsecured bail was set at $1,000.
  • Steven B. Keller Jr., 49, Curwensville, who is charged with DUI and summary traffic violations. Unsecured bail was set at $1,000.
  • Eric J. London, 35, DuBois, who is charged with assault, strangulation, possession of a small amount of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and harassment. Unsecured bail was set at $5,000.
  • Michael R. Kelly, 40, Luthersburg, an inmate in the county jail, who is charged with possession of a firearm prohibited, alter/obliterate mark of identification, firearm not to be carried without a license, manufacture, deliver, possession with intent to manufacture, deliver, possess a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and several summary traffic violations. Monetary bail was set at $500,000.
  • Alexandria L. Sheets, 27, Luthersburg, who is charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. Unsecured supervised bail was set at $5,000.
  • James L. Uhl, 29, Brockport, who is charged with firearms not to be carried without a license, possession of drug paraphernalia and driving while operating privileges are suspended or revoked.
