Tiffany is a 5-year-old Terrier mix. She is a fun-loving dog who can come off shy at first. Once she is comfortable she is sweet and loving. She enjoys going for walks and taking naps in her doggy bed. She would do best in a home with no small children.

Otis is a around a year old. He came to the shelter as a stray. He has lived at the shelter since October. When you first meet Otis, he may come off shy, but he is a sweet and gentle cat. He loves to be petted and brushed. He is showing some signs of stress from being in his kennel (he is over licking his self, causing sores). Otis would love a home.

If you would like to meet Tiffany or Otis, please stop by the shelter during open hours — Monday and Wednesday from 4-7 p.m. and Tuesday and Saturday from noon-4 p.m. For more information call 375-0505.

Charlie is an 8-year-old Labrador Retriever mix. He doesn’t act like he’s 8, though! Who says old dogs can’t learn new tricks? He is living proof that’s wrong. He knows how to sit and shake, and is ready to learn more.

Snickers is a 1-year-old female who was brought to the shelter because her owner could no longer care for her. She is good with dogs, children and other cats. She loves to have all the attention, too!

To meet Charlie or Snickers, stop by 275 21st St. in Clearfield or call 814-765-2220. The shelter is closed on Wednesdays and Sundays and can be found on Facebook or www.clearfieldcountyspca.org.

ELK COUNTY HUMANE SOCIETY

Dozer is a 5-year-old Chihuahua/Terrier mix. Dozer was surrendered to the shelter by his original owners because he wasn’t getting along with their newborn. Dozer loves all things outdoors — going for walks, exploring, sniffing. While he can be more on the independent side at times, he does have his cuddly side. This handsome guy will make a wonderful exercise partner. He walks very well on a leash.

This boy is an absolute sweetheart! When he arrived, Nelson’s long hair was matted and uncomfortable, so he went to the groomer for a haircut! Now he’s on his way to a fresh start. He’s just a little bit shy, but so very lovable. He loves chin and ear scratches and often nestles his head in your hand for more pets. He would be happy in a quiet home with maybe his own cat tree to climb and nap in!

Stop by the shelter to visit Nelson or Dozer at 1029 E. Eschbach Road in St. Marys Monday through Thursday from noon-4 p.m. or Friday and Saturday from noon-2 p.m. Call 814-834-3247 or visit their Facebook page for more information.
