DuBOIS — DuBois Councilmen Randy Schmidt and Jim Aughenbaugh were sworn in by Clearfield County Judge Paul E. Cherry at Tuesday’s reorganization meeting of the city council.
Both Schmidt and Aughenbaugh were re-elected for a four-year term.
Under the city’s form of government the mayor, currently Gary Gilbert, serves as council president.
The council re-elected Randy Schmidt as vice president.
The other council members are Ed Walsh and Diane Bernardo.
The council will continue to hold its regular meetings on the second and fourth Mondays of each month at 7 p.m. in the City Council Chambers, City Hall, 16 W. Scribner Ave., DuBois.
If the date of the regular meeting falls on a legal holiday, the meeting will be held on a predetermined date.
City Council will hold work sessions o the Thursday prior to the second Monday and fourth Monday at 4 p.m. in the City Council Chambers.
The DuBois Park Committee and DuBois Parking Authority will continue to meet as needed.
The DuBois Planning Commission will hold regular meetings the first Wednesday of each month at 7 p.m. (With the exception of July which the meeting will be held a week later on July 11 at 7 p.m. due to July 4 observance.)
The DuBois Redevelopment Authority will hold regular meetings at 11 a.m. the second Tuesday of each month in the City Council Chambers.
The DuBois Watershed Committee will hold regular meetings on the first Wednesday before the work session in the months of January, April, July and October at 4 p.m. in City Council Chambers. This is with the exception of July which the meeting will be held a week later on July 11 at 4 p.m. due to the July 4 observance.
Notification will be given of any special meetings that have to be cancelled.
All meetings are open to the public.
