The search for a missing 19-year-old canoer entered its third day today.

Search and rescue crews expected to be back on the water searching for the teen, who went missing Saturday afternoon when the canoe he was riding in flipped over near an area of the West Branch of the Susquehanna River known as the Moshannon Falls.

Dive teams from Punxsutawney, swift water rescue teams from Clearfield, Treasure Lake, Howard, Lock Haven, Renovo and surrounding areas, as well as Elkland Search and Rescue, cadaver dogs, state police helicopters and numerous volunteer fire companies, along with Clearfield and Centre County emergency management agencies and crews from R.J. Corman Railroad searched the river all day Sunday.

According to reports from the scene, the missing teen was part of a church group from the southeastern part of the state.
