GRAMPIAN — Grampian Borough Council requested residents be more understanding when the borough’s plow trucks are looking for places to deposit newly removed snow scraped off borough streets.
At Monday’s meeting, Councilwoman Michelle Shaw said she had spoken with the borough’s employee who told her residents are being fractious about where the snow is placed.
“People are telling him where he can and can’t put the snow,” Straw told council.
Street Commissioner Lew Weber said with the recent winter storms and additional ones forecasted for the near future, residents need to be more understanding. He said because of the borough’s narrow streets, there are only certain places for those removing snow to place it.
