Highlights from Tuesday’s Clearfield County Commissioner’s board meeting include:

1 Commissioners accepted an offer from Highmark that would lock in terms and conditions for a 3-year period providing county employees with healthcare insurance. For accepting the long-term contract, the county will receive an annual loyalty credit of $20,000.

2 Commissioners approved a liquid fuel allocation for Coalport Borough of $3,000.

3 Commissioners made several appointments: Kay Martell to a 5-year term on the Clearfield County Housing Authority; Kay Dell’Antonio, reappointed to a 5-year term on the Clearfield-Jefferson Counties Regional Airport Authority; William Clouser to fill an unexpired term, serving through Dec. 31, 2018, on the Clearfield County Public Library Board, filling a position left vacant by the resignation of Holly Komonczi; and William McGovern, reappointed to a 3-year term on the Clearfield County Public Library board.
