DuBOIS — Two people were injured in a crash by Frito-Lay on Rich Highway just after 5 p.m. Wednesday, according to Sandy Township Fire Chief Steve Dunlap.

Traffic was tied up in both directions in the crash involving a Dodge 4 x 4 and a GMC Envoy.

According to the fire chief, an injured woman in the GMC was being flown by medical helicopter to a hospital in Altoona and a injured man in the Dodge 4 x 4 was taken by ambulance to Penn Highlands Hospital.

He said two other people refused treatment.

Both vehicles were towed. No other details about the crash were available.

Sandy Township (West Sandy Fire Co. and Adrian Fire Co.), DuSan Ambulance and Sandy Township police responded.
