On Aug. 11 and 12 hundreds of people held a rally and marched on the University of Virginia in Charlottesville protesting the removal of a statue of Confederate icon Robert E. Lee. The marches had been organized by Jason Kessler. According to the Southern Poverty Law Center, Kessler had prior involvement with the Occupy Wall Street movement and was a supporter of President Obama.

During the march on Saturday things went downhill when the marchers were confronted by the Redneck Revolt, an armed, left wing anarchist group and other people holding Black Lives Matter signs.

After the ensuing riot was over, one protester was dead along with two state troopers who were killed in a helicopter accident while watching the riot.

President Trump made a statement condemning the rioting and said that both sides were guilty for what happened. Immediately the overpaid teleprompter readers along with their alt-left cohorts in the press went ballistic.

Let’s go back one year to Dallas where five white police officers were murdered and 9 other people were severely injured by Micah Xavier Johnson, an African American who hated white people. President Obama held a news conference the next day and said, “it’s very hard to untangle the motives.” And Hillary criticized the police for their “implicit bias.”

The silence from the alt-left guardians of the First Amendment was deafening.
