More snow headed for Tri-County Area
STATE COLLEGE - AccuWeather.com says a storm that crossed the Four Corners region Sunday will impact millions of people as it crosses the nation this week, with the potential for significant snow, ice, flooding rain and strong storms.

Economic stress retains its grip on Tri-County Area
DuBOIS - The Tri-County Area remains economically "stressed" according to the latest assessment of The Associated Press's national Stress Index.
AP's Economic Stress Index calculates a score from 1 to 100 based on a county's unemployment, foreclosure and bankruptcy rates.

Stage is set for another budget battle
BROOKVILLE - Pennsylvania was the last state in the nation to adopt a budget last year and the stage is set for a replay of that battle according to Lt. Gov. and state Sen. Joe Scarnati, R-Brockway.

After several heavy squalls and winds gusting more than 40 mph, temperatures fell to near zero overnight and ‘feel-like’ temperatures were well below zero. The Brookville Area School District canceled classes today while most other districts operated on a two-hour delay.
