BROOKVILLE - The write-ins have been counted but that did not resolve the outcome of the municipal election in one Jefferson County borough.
In the Borough of Summerville, there were no candidates on the ballot for either Mayor or for the town council. There were 57 write-in votes for the council and 17 write-in votes for mayor.
The leader in the tally for mayor was the Greg Furlong, the present mayor, who was not on the ballot. Norman Ishman, Nicholas William Johnson, David Troutman and Nancy Marshall, each had one vote.
