BROCKWAY — Brockway was unable to hold onto a six-point halftime lead as it suffered a 51-43 loss at the hands of visiting Moniteau Monday night.

DuBOIS — The DuBois girls basketball team used a strong start, and its decided advantage in the post, to knock off visiting Brockway, 46-37, Monday night in the teams’ 10th Annual Pink Game.

RIDGWAY — Trailing by five at the half, Ridgway flipped the script on Elk County Catholic in the second half, outscoring the visitors 23-13 in the second half to come away with a 36-31 victory Thursday.

BRADFORD — The DuBois girls basketball team used a strong second-half effort to rally from a two-point halftime deficit to knock off host Bradford, 50-38, for its first District 9 League win of the season.

PUNXSUTAWNEY — Turnovers and missed shots on the inside doomed St. Marys as it suffered a 50-31 loss on the road to Punxsutawney Wednesday night.


BROCKWAY — Coming off its biggest win in recent memory Saturday night at Coudersport (40-33), the Brockway girls basketball team experienced a bit of a letdown Wednesday night at home against Johnsonburg in its first game since that victory.


DuBOIS — DuBois led from start to finish on its way to a bounce-back 43-31 victory over visiting Clearfield Tuesday night.

BROCKWAY — Brockway was unable to overcome a dominant first quarter by visiting Kane as it was defeated 73-46 Monday night.

DuBOIS — The DuBois boys basketball team used a late hoop from senior Chase Husted, and a big night at foul line, to offset some sloppy to pull out a hard-fought 52-50 victory against visiting Brookville in District 9 League action Monday night.

ST. MARYS — DuBois got a dominant second-half performance from senior Chase Husted as it secured a thrilling 51-48 victory on the road over St. Marys in a back-and-forth affair Wednesday night.
