ST. MARYS — St. Marys hosted the District 9 Class AA Swimming and Diving Championships over the weekend, and home teams enjoyed a strong weekend competing in their own pool, while Brookville put together a solid showing.
The DuBois swim teams put together stellar performances over the weekend, as the boys and girls squads each captured second-place team finishes in their respective district meets — the Beavers in Class AA in District 9 and the Lady Beavers in Class AAA in District 6.

HYDE — The DuBois and Clearfield swimming and diving teams split their first meeting of the season in DuBois, with the host Lady Beavers pulling out a thrilling 89-87 victory in the final event.
BROOVKILLE — The DuBois swim teams secured a sweep on the road over Brookville Monday night as the girls came away with a 108-62 win while the boys secured a 97-63 victory.
DuBOIS — Rivals DuBois and Clearfield met in the pool Monday night at DuBois Area High School and split the meet.
