New judge takes oath of office

FOR ONLY THE SECOND time this century, the eighth time since 1900 and the 11th time in the 144-year history of Armstrong County’s judicial district, an elected judge took the oath of office Tuesday morning as Chase McClister (right) was seated as a judge of the Court of Common Pleas of Armstrong County. President Judge James Panchik (left) administered the oath to McClister, who begins a 10-year term on the bench.
