In his Rimersburg Rules column in the Dec. 13-14 edition of The L-V, Joe Lewis bemoans the possibility that the will of the voters in Alabama would be thwarted by various evil forces. I’m sure that now he is overjoyed at the results of the election there this past Tuesday — the will of the voters has prevailed!

Lewis ends his column with the following words: “Send a message, Alabama.” Well, the voters of Alabama did send a message, loud and clear. Loud enough and clear enough for Lewis to hear and loud enough and clear enough for Trump to hear (except he’s tone deaf to anything beyond his own rants), and loud enough and clear enough for Bannon and Breitbart to hear, and loud enough and clear enough for the 2018 electorate to hear.
