Five athletes from Redbank Valley and Union were honored by the Keystone Shortway Athletic Conference in its fall sports all-conference announcements Monday.

Three of the five mentions were in volleyball where Redbank Valley’s Emily Gourley and Josie Rupp were first- and second-team all-conference respectively. Union’s Frankee Remmick was a third-team selection.

In cross country, two Union runners on the co-operative team with A-C Valley were second-team selections — Tye Sapien and Vinnie Gazzo.

Most Valuable Players were North Clarion’s Tori Obenrader in volleyball, North Clarion’s Nathaniel Lerch and Karns City’s Rebecca Pennington in cross country, and Moniteau’s Weston Kimmey in golf.
