AIKEN, S.C. — Nichole Alexandria McClain, of St. Marys, and Michael Brendan Ryan, of Emporium, were united in marriage April 16, 2016, by the Rev. Matthew W. Ryan, father of the groom, in an outdoor ceremony at Rose Hill Estate, Aiken, South Carolina.
She is the daughter of Martin and Helene McClain, of St. Marys. He is the son of the Rev. Matthew and Barbara Ryan, of Emporium.
The bride chose Jenna Zitzler, of St. Marys, as her maid of honor.
Bridesmaids were Margaret Sensenig, of St. Marys, and Kaitlyn Parlsow, of Emporium, sisters of the groom.
Flower girls were Molly Sensenig, of St. Marys, and Clara Parslow, of Emporium, nieces of the groom.
Andrew Pennington, of Emporium, fulfilled the duties of best man.
Ring Bearers were Jackson Sensenig, of St. Marys, and Mitchell Parslow, of Emporium, nephews of the groom.
Groomsmen were: Daniel Sensenig, of St. Marys, brother-in-law of the groom; Joshua Parslow, of Emporium, brother-in-law of the groom; Carl Mitchell, of Emporium, and Bryon Krieg, of California, Pa.
A reception was also held at Rose Hill Estate.
The bride is a 2010 graduate of Elk County Catholic High School and a 2014 graduate of Penn State University with a bachelor’s degree in physical and environmental geography. She is employed as a administrative assistant for Valmet, Inc. in Aiken, S.C.
The groom is a 2009 graduate of Cameron County High School and a 2012 graduate of University of Pittsburgh with a bachelor’s degree in business management. He is employed as a business systems manager for Carlstar in Aiken, S.C.
Following a honeymoon trip to Beaufort and Hunting Island, S.C., the couple reside in Aiken, S.C.
