60th anniversary

Mr. & Mrs. Morgan Ball

DuBOIS — Mr. and Mrs. Morgan Ball, of DuBois, recently celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary by renewing their marriage vows.

Helen “HoneyMae” Williams and Morgan “Flip” Ball were united in marriage on July 25, 1956, at the Bethel Evangelical Lutheran Church, Albin, Va., with the Rev. E. B. Smith officiating.

The couple was also honored with a luncheon at the Reynoldsville Foundry, hosted by their children: Gary (Penny) Ball, Philip Ball and Richard Ball, all from DuBois; Jame (Kristi) Ball, of Pittsburgh; and Mark (Traci) Ball of Beaverdam, Va. The couple also has 10 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

He is retired from Carpenter’s Union Local 947, Hallstrom Construction Co.

She is retired from Time Warner Cable.

Since retiring they winter each year in Sebring, Fla.
