Mr. and Mrs. George Ross celebrate 50th wedding anniversary

Mr. and Mrs. George R. Ross celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Nov. 26, 2016.

George R. Ross and Louise A. Naugle were united in marriage on Nov. 26, 1966, at the Bethany Covenant Church in DuBois by the Rev. Kent D. Palmquist.

He is a retired security guard from Wells Fargo.

She is a retired first grade teacher from the DuBois Area School District.

They have two sons, Kenneth “Butch” Ross of Chattanooga, Tenn., and Brian “David” Ross, of Butler; three grandchildren, three step-grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

The couple celebrated at the Luigi’s Villa with 100 guests from Pennsylvania, Ohio, Arkansas, Tennessee, South Carolina and Washington, D.C. Entertainment was provided by renowned dulcimer player “Butch” Ross and Trish Wileman, music director at Signal Mountain Presbyterian Church, Tenn.
