BROCKWAY — The Psi chapter of the Delta Kappa Gamma (DKG) inducted Kristina Jo Keith, of Brockway, into its membership on Sept. 16.

Keith is a music educator employed by the DuBois Area School District, currently at the Oklahoma Elementary School as a general music instructor and choral director. She promotes creative expression among her students and displays a diverse background in voice, piano, and guitar.

Delta Kappa Gamma is a professional honor society of key women educators in the United States, Canada, Europe, Latin America and Japan. Its mission is to promote professional and personal growth of women educators and excellence in education. Membership is offered by invitation from the local chapter.

Women like Keith demonstrate outstanding and distinctive service in the field of education. They are leaders who are results-oriented conceptual thinkers.

Psi chapter is pleased to welcome Keith into its membership.

Keith is involved in Brockway community activities as well. She is the Wolf Den leader of Scout Troop 40 and director of the Handbells at her church. In addition, she provides private instrumental lessons in the Brockway area.
