PITTSBURGH — Gina Zappia and Justin Amrhein, both of Bridgeville, were united in marriage Sept. 24, 2016, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Muse, Pa., by the Rev. Fr. George DeVille.

She is the daughter of Marlene Zappia, of DuBois, and the Late Joseph Zappia Jr. He is the son of Timothy and Susan Amrhein, of Coraopolis, Pa.

The bride chose Ashton Whitaker, of DuBois, as her maid of honor.

Bridesmaids included: Lauren Amrhein, of St. Thomas, Virgin Islands, Heather Kaecher, of Pittsburgh, Jackie Tawfik, of Drexel Hill, Pa., and Katie Trexler, of San Diego, Calif.

Sarah Beck, of Temecula, Calif., was the flower girl.

Dan Miller, of North Versailles, Pa., and Gian Alian, of Cranberry, shared the duties of best man.

Caleb Sinnott, of McKean, Pa., was the ring bearer.

Groomsmen included: Joe Zappia III, brother of the bride, of DuBois, Jake Reynolds, of Washington, Pa., and Eric Snowden, of Cranberry.

A reception was held in the Fairview Sunset Room, Bridgeville.

The bride earned a bachelor’s degree in general science from Penn State University and her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from LECOM. She is a pharmacy manager at Walmart.

The groom earned a bachelor’s degree in management information systems from Penn State University and a master’s degree in business administration from Gannon University. He is an IT analyst at Erie Insurance Group.

Following a honeymoon to Aruba, they are residing in Pittsburgh.
