PITTSBURGH — Maria Hanslovan, of DuBois, and Andrew McCutchen, of Fort Meade, Fla., were united in marriage Nov. 22, 2014, at St. Pauls Cathedral in Pittsburgh by the Rev. Fr. David Foradori.
She is the daughter of Donald and Kathleen Hanslovan, of DuBois. He is the son of Lorenzo and Petrina McCutchen, of Fort Meade, Fla.
The bride chose Kaleen Hanslovan, of DuBois, as her maid of honor.
Bridesmaids were: Loren McCutchen, of Fort Meade, Fla.; Nichele Hoover, of Pittsburgh; Kristy Gulvas Fox, of DuBois; Kimmy Simbeck, of St. Marys; Meghan Swope, of Washington, D.C.; Bobbi Witherite, of Pittsburgh; and Jaclyn McKenry, of Knoxville, Tenn.
Kenneth Eldell, of Florida, performed the duties of best man.
Groomsmen were: Ronnie Hanslovan, of DuBois; Jerrod Tisko, of Florida; Will Cherry, of Florida; Michael McKenry, of Knoxville; Corey Moore; and Steven Pearce, of Florida.
A reception was held at the Heinz History Museum in Pittsburgh.
The bride is a 2007 graduate of DuBois Central Catholic High School and a 2011 graduate of Slippery Rock University with a degree in biochemistry and forensic chemistry.
The groom is a 2005 graduate of Fort Meade High School and was drafted in the first round by the Pittsburgh Pirates at age 18.
Following a honeymoon trip to Antigua, they are residing in Pittsburgh.
