Rev. & Mrs. James Long
BROOKVILLE - The Rev. and Mrs. James R. Long celebrated their 55 wedding anniversary Jan. 26.
James R. Long of Johnstown and Jacqueline R. Trimm of Troy, N.Y., were united in marriage Jan. 26, 1957, at the Wesleyan Church in Wynantskill, N.Y. by the late Rev. Stanley Klob. They have resided in Brookville for the past 45 years.
He is the son of the late Orville and Ruth Gillin Long of Johnstown. She is the daughter of the late Ralph and Rena Rose Trimm of Troy, N.Y.
He is a retired Wesleyan pastor. He is also a retired casework supervisor from the Jefferson County Board of Assistance.
She is a retired caseworker from the Jefferson County Board of Assistance.
They have one daughter, the late Darla Long, and two sons, James R. Long and Darryl J. Long of Pittsburgh; four grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
They celebrated their anniversary at the Gold Eagle Restaurant in Brookville.
