Amaryllis "Amy" L. Bloom, 81, of Walls Road, DuBois, died Friday, Feb. 3, 2012, at the DuBois Nursing Home.
Born on July 10, 1930, in Luthersburg, she was a daughter of the late Harvey & Mary B. Bennett Seyler.
She married Vern S. Bloom. He preceded her in death in 1993.
She and her husband operated a dairy farm in Luthersburg for 38 years. She also worked at the DuBois Regional Medical Center in the dietary department for 37 years.
She was Protestant by faith.
She is survived by four daughters: Marsha Gregor and her husband Frank of Greensboro, N.C., Cheryl Mumford and her husband Timothy of DuBois, PA, Karen DeBoer and her husband Kenneth of Reynoldsville, and Sally Neiswonger and her husband William Sr. of Reynoldsville, as well as numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Edgar Seyler, and three daughters: Jeanette Stretch, Rose Mary Bloom, and Dorothy Wingard.
Visitation will be held on Monday, Feb. 6, 2012, from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at the Goble Baronick Funeral Home.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 7, 2012, at 11 a.m. from the Goble Baronick Funeral Home with the Rev. Pastor Charles M. Lee, Jr. officiating.
Burial will be in Luthersburg Union Cemetery.
Memorials may be placed with the charity of the donor's choice.
