Snowman in the Forest Day — Feb. 16 beginning at 11 a.m. at Cook Forest State Park Ice Skating Pond. Ice skating (some skate rentals available), sledding (bring your tubes or sleds), chili cook-off, horse drawn sleigh rides, hikes, happy dog contest, and appearance from Smokey the Bear. We are cooking hot dogs, kraut dogs, and chili for all. This is a wonderful family event! Come out and see how beautiful Cook Forest is in the winter. Dress warmly.

Parade of Stars — February 23 at 7 p.m. at the Cameron County High School, Emporium. Home grown talent from the region compete for bragging rights. Money raised benefits the Cameron County Fair. The admission fee is $4 per person.
