Students Enjoy Spring Fling

EARLY MORNING RAIN showers may have put a damper on the walk-a-thon, but kindergarteners at Redbank Valley Primary School seemed to have just as much fun playing with a giant parachute during an impromptu dance party at the school’s annual spring festival last Friday. Hosted by the PTO, the all-day event included crafts, face painting, water purification activities, demonstrations by the Redbank Valley High School Robotics Club, hayrides and more. Luckily, the rain clouds broke by mid-morning and students were able to take to the Redbank Valley Trail to participate in the school’s first-ever walk-a-thon. The walk raised approximately $400 for the PTO.
