HAZARDS...A band of heavy snow accompanied by winds of up to 30 MPH
which can rapidly reduce visibility to less than one mile. A quick
coating to 0.5 inch of snow accumulation will result in hazardous
travel.
LOCATION AND MOVEMENT...At 1235 AM EST, a band of heavy snow was
along a line extending from 26 miles northwest of Lock Haven to
DuBois and moving southeast at 30 MPH.
LOCATIONS IMPACTED INCLUDE...
Williamsport, Lock Haven, DuBois, Clearfield, Jersey Shore, Sandy,
Keating, Philipsburg, Woodland, Curwensville, Mill Hall, Avis,
Penfield, Hyde, Dunnstown, Flemington, Renovo, Castanea, Osceola
Mills and Plymptonville.
For those driving on Interstate 80, this includes areas between the
Dubois and Milesburg exits, specifically from mile markers 97 to 153.
