ASHAWAY, R.I. — Allison Kate Calcagni of Westerly, R.I., and Alex Andrew Russell of Grampian were united in marriage by Pastor Yeadon at Trinity Lutheran Church in Ashaway, R.I., on May 19, 2018.
She is the daughter of Lori and Al Calcagni of Charlestown, R.I. He is the son of Jane and Bill Russell of Grampian.
The bride chose Allie Rainwater of Connecticut as her maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Katie Russell of Grampian, Xena Colasante of Coatesville and Liz Boyle of Rhode Island. Junior bridesmaid was Kaylee Nelen of Curwensville. Flower girl was Vera Squire of Rhode Island.
The groom chose Bill Edwards of DuBois as his best man. Groomsmen were Tim Calcagni of Westerly, R.I., Joe Tomasko of Kylertown and Chris Calcagni of Westerly, R.I. Ring bearer was Kyler Nelen of Curwensville.
A reception was held at the Westerly Yacht Club, Westerly, R.I.
The bride obtained a bachelor’s degree in equine business management from Johnson and Wales University. She works at the Chautaqua County Humane Society.
The groom has a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering. He is employed at Truck-Lite in Falconer, N.Y.
Following a honeymoon in Oahu, Hawaii, the couple resides in Lakewood, N.Y.
